The Playing in Class Series

For those who have been following the progression of my projects, you probably have observed that I've been working on a video series called, Playing in Class.

Playing in Class is a series that features interview style video combined with shoeplay, to help to inform people about subjects they may not be aware of. High on the list are cultural issues, which affect all or most of the human population.

We invite people in to come and discuss these issues and concepts. Subjects range from national culture to individual issues like race, feminism, masculinism, and everything in between.

Why I don't consider my work Porn or Fetish

One thing I've often had to be bugged about by almost every person who's worked with me at one time or another is the idea that my work is Fetish or is Pornography.

Personally, I don't consider what I do to be either. I actually consider it art. Here's why, and if you follow my logic, then you'll probably reach the same conclusion.

Pornography is a depiction of an actual sex act. In foot fetishism there could be footjobs, foot fucking, things like that.Those are pornographic, because it includes certain understood elements of biological sexual arousal (Erect penis, nudity, nipple rubbing, masturbation etc.).

A Fetish can be a sexual attraction to a certain object of one's desire. Hair, eyes, noses, feet, blood, balloons and numerous other things can fit into this category. A fetish can also be an obsession over such things to a point that you simply must have it. The main characteristic of both of these profiles of fetishism is that it can inhibit you from functioning properly in society if it is strong enough. If you get angry enough at the idea of a person not going barefoot when taking off their shoes, you have a Fetish, one characteristic, but a glaring example of the obsessive nature that some of us in this community have indeed witnessed in others.

But, few if any of these items are inherently fetishistic or pornographic. That is secondary to their intended nature.

Likewise, my work is not initially intended to cause arousal or invoke fetishism. It's to be seen as art, and my work is artistic in its own way. Fetishism comes secondary to me actually doing the work. Am I aware it is sexual to some people? Of course. I would not have a market for this if it was not. But just as the Coca plant was not intended for use for Cocaine, does not mean it cannot be used for it.

I don't argue anymore with people concerning my opinion on this matter anymore, but feel I need to explain this once and for all. Of course we all have our beliefs on the matter, but this is mine, and it is my drive.

New Sections, New Models, and Transferring Product

Every day I'm pretty busy, so I hardly get to actually update a blog like I want to.

Recently I've been very busy with the division of The Shoeplay Warehouse into Silly Soles High and Silly Soles State, with The Shoeplay Warehouse being used just to hold long movies, between 50 minutes and 3 hours long.

Silly Soles High is just for the younger, and smaller models and takes place in locales that seem close to how high schools look. A model for Silly Soles High is usually 5'2" and below.

 

While Silly Soles State is for the older, taller models. Filming takes place in locations more suited to what a univeristy campus would feel like.  Models for Silly Soles state are usually 5'4" and above.

I've been updating my website: http://theshoeplaywarehouse.webs.com/ to reflect these changes.

As far as videos go, I intend to still sell videos on my clips4sales stores, but the porn aspect of other clips4sale stores has begun to overshadow my intention of producing quality material of an innocent nature. After all, it's just taking your shoes off, I shouldn't have to prove it's not porn. It's like an herbal aphrodisiac, there are other uses for them, sexual arousal is not their only quality.

So I am slowly transferring my work from my Clips4sale stores over to my own website. I can send out CD/DVD or Internet Download Links. Only the best of my pieces will be transferred. Each video comes with a preview, so you know just what you're going to get, and it's set to music, so you get a variety of musical tastes as well.

I have two new models, Kim and Mindi, in addition to the other models already on the site. Kim, Mindi, Windi and Natasha are available for work. Kim is a French model who's revently moved to the area, and Mindi is also one who just moved here.

Most of the posts on this blog will be info about updates such as content management or new videos, and models.

My First Blog Post, Awesome!

I'm Debulon, and I own the Shoeplay Warehouse. I've owned it for about two years now, and I greatly enjoy the work I do. Filming the movies is something I love and it brings me joy not only to meet new people and film their feet in action, but also to bring pleasure to others. Knowing that people like what I do makes me want to do this literally until the day I die.
